Thursday, March 6th, 2014 brought two more large crashes on Route 7.  The first, an early morning 3-car accident in the Town of Hoosick involving a tractor trailer shut down the road for 8 hours.  Later in the evening, another accident snarled traffic on Hoosick near RPI in Troy.

These unfortunately are more examples of dangerous and serious accidents for this popular thoroughfare.  Just two months ago there was an accident involving pedestrians who were struck in the crosswalk on Hoosick Street in Troy.  And almost a year ago, a mother and child were seriously injured crossing Hoosick Street.

Given that Route 7 is a major thoroughfare for many residents of Troy, Brunswick, and towns farther east, lawmakers are again considering changes to a road that already saw changes in 2013.

At LaMarche Safranko Law, we want our readers to be safe, which is why we frequently publish blogs regarding pedestrian and driver safety.

If you or someone you know has been injured in a car accident, you may have a right to file a claim and seek compensation for the harms and losses suffered.  Attorneys at LaMarche Safranko Law represent those who suffer lost wages, and physical and emotional harm because of a crash.
