Even though you may be facing a 6 month or 1-year license revocation according to the DMV, the judge and/or the probation department can prevent you from driving for longer as a term and condition of your probation. Therefore, even if you are eligible to get your license back according to the DMV, if you are on probation, it must be approved by the probation department and/or the Judge first.
